Keystone Snowmobiler:  December 2010 Issue
West End Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club , Roulette, PA

Ahhhh...the days are getting colder...the frost is getting heavier...snow is already flying...a good setup for snowmobiling season! Now we need the snow to get serious and the lake effect machine to start pumping like crazy.

Last month we featured our new groomer. Now I am happy to say we have taken delivery of our new Major's drag. The guys are working to beef up the back of the groomer sled so we can hitch up the drag and go. A huge thank you goes out to the snowmobile forums and clubs in PA and NY, who have answered our many questions as we worked through the decision process. They just finished the groomer shed, so everything is well protected, when not in use. Now we are just waiting for the snow to start accumulating so we can get out there and groom the trails.

We held a chicken BBQ on Halloween weekend. We usually have them in the summer, but needed to raise a bit more money now that we have the new equipment. Even though the day started out below freezing when the fires were lit, it ended up a good day. Everyone had fun, sold all the chicken, and made enough money to cover our groomer insurance. Thank you to everyone who supported us.

Elections were held in November. The results are as follows:
     President: Roy Knowlton 814-544-7353
     Vice President: Paul Althouse 814-642-2724
     Treasurer: Tillie Hinkle 814-544-9075
     Secretary: Barb Truitt 814-544-7302
