The club held their first annual Vintage Sled Swap-N-Shine. 20 sleds and 10 exhibitors participated. The sleds were very impressive! The pride and hard work that went into restoring the sleds was very evident.
The Winterfest attendees voted on the sleds, and the count was close. The trophy for Best of Show went to Brandon Thompson of Knox, Pa for his 1969 Artic Cat Panther. He found the snowmobile, with a 297 Sach engine, hiding in a chicken coop in Frogtown when he was 12 years old. Brandon spent the last 4 years restoring it using all original parts, and it looked awesome. |
