| August article submitted to Keystone Snowmobiler West End Trail Blazers Potter County Hi Everyone, Here it is the beginning of July and we are in a heat wave and I am thinking snowmobiling. The temperature outside is in the 90's and going to stay there for a few days. Pretty hot for God's Country. A week ago the temperature was 39 degrees in the evening. Our Club held its first chicken BBQ on May 1st and it was a sellout. The next one is planned for July 24 and the last one on August 21. Another fund raiser we have that is available now is an October Lottery Calendar ticket. The tickets are $5 each or a pack of 5 tickets for $20. Anyone interested can contact us on the website www.westendtrailblazers@yahoo.com or call 814-544-9075 or 814-544-7345. The Club is still looking for a small groomer to do all our trails. If anyone out there knows of one you can contact Doug at 814-544-7345. I have been in contact by e-mail with Tom Jacoby our new Region 7 Assistant Director and have invited him to our Sept. 6th meeting We are all looking forward to meeting him. Another two years has gone by and in October we will be holding nominations for Election of Officers and a Board of Director. The years seem to fly by and the snowmobiling season so short. Hope Mother Nature will take care of us this year like she did downstate last season. If not we have a business member who is good at the Snow Dance.
